1. Code of Ethics
The Recruiters attaches tremendous importance to conducting its business ethically. Having a high standard of ethics is one way in which "The Recruiters" signals and delivers superior performance. To meet this commitment we believe in:-
a) Professionalism: conduct our activities in a manner that reflects favorably on the profession.
b) Integrity: conduct our business activities with integrity and avoid conduct that is deceptive or misleading.
c) Competence: perform all recruitment assignments competently, and with an appropriate degree of knowledge, thoroughness, and urgency.
d) Objectivity: exercise objective and impartial judgment in each recruitment assignment, giving due consideration to all relevant facts.
e) Accuracy: strive to be accurate in all communications with clients and candidates and encourage them to exchange relevant and accurate information.
f) Conflicts of Interest: avoid, or resolve through disclosure and waiver, conflicts of interest.
g) Confidentiality: respect confidential information entrusted to them by clients and candidates.
h) Loyalty: serve their client's loyalty and protect client interests when performing assignments.
i) Equal Opportunity: support equal opportunity in employment and objectively evaluate all qualified candidates.
j) Public Interest: conduct our activities with respect for the public interest.
k) Re-Recruitment: shall not re-recruit the candidate from the client organization for two years from initial placement unless explicit permission is obtained.
2. Anti Bribery & Corruption
a) Our firm has zero tolerance for bribery/corruption.
b) No employee/freelancer engaged with our firm will make any payment to an existing client / potential client for getting business/favors.
c) No employee/freelancer will accept any payment from any candidate by promising a placement. The hiring process for a candidate will be without charge.
d) Client Account Managers are frequently rotated and positions to work on are also assigned at random to avoid close linkages between a particular employee and a particular client.
e) The same shall also apply to regulatory authorities, as our firm shall abide by all laws of the land and will not offer any consideration to any government official that can be considered as illegal gratification.
3. Environmental & Health Issues
a) Try and keep the office as paperless as possible and use the computer to take notes instead of using paper.
b) Resumes from candidates, except for direct applicants for in-house positions will only be accepted by email / WhatsApp in digital format.
c) The offices of our firm shall be kept clean and disinfected and regularly pest controlled so that, the health of all employees is not adversely affected. We shall also avoid stretched working hours, and give timely breaks.
d) Our offices also have security, fire alarms, and smoke detectors for our safety.
4. Social Responsibility
a) As a leader in the Executive Search/recruitment space in India, we have a responsibility to give back to our society. Hence we shall endeavour to go out of the way to help candidates in distress who have lost jobs due to a variety of reasons.
b) One major step that we have taken in this direction is the creation of a LinkedIn group that consists of such candidates in distress. All employees should endeavor to ask employers and Recruiters to share job posts here / pick up candidates who showcase themselves in this group and the whole activity is pro bono. The group has around 2500 such candidates as of date. The link to the group is https://www.linkedin.com/groups/10360348. All employees approached by any such candidates in distress should ask them to join this group.
